The Department of Seniors, Disability Services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships Worker Screening Unit aims to improve the quality and safety of disability supports and services being delivered in Queensland.
Please note, while our work will strengthen standards and uphold the rights of people with disability and enable them to live their lives free from abuse, violence, neglect or exploitation, it does not replace existing obligations to report suspected crimes to the police or other relevant authorities.
For NDIS participants, any concerns about the services they receive can be raised through the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
